Terms of Use
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the MusicMe service. By creating an account or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not accept, do not use the service.
1. Service description
MusicMe is a music streaming service offering:
- Online music catalog (artists, albums, tracks)
- Personalized recommendations and infinite radio mode
- Playlist creation and favorites collection
- Offline downloads (Premium)
- CarPlay integration and native iOS / macOS apps
The service is operated by Apache Network SA — see the Privacy Policy for full legal information.
2. Eligibility
You must be 15 years of age or older to create an account, pursuant to article 45 of the French Data Protection Act (which sets the digital consent age at 15 in France). Between 15 and 18, you confirm having obtained permission from a parental authority holder.
3. Account creation and security
- You provide a valid and personal email address
- You choose a password of at least 6 characters
- You confirm your email by clicking the link sent after registration
- You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials
- One account per person — sharing an account is prohibited
- You must inform us promptly of any unauthorized use
4. Premium subscription
4.1 Pricing and duration
The MusicMe Premium subscription is offered as an in-app purchase via Apple (App Store iOS, Mac App Store). Current pricing is shown in the app's purchase screen before confirmation. The commitment period (monthly or annual) is specified at this stage.
4.2 Auto-renewal
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the rate in force, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation is done from the iOS / macOS settings of your Apple ID (Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions).
4.3 Refunds
Since purchases are processed by Apple, refund requests are subject to Apple's policy: support.apple.com/HT204084. MusicMe cannot directly process IAP refunds.
4.4 Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to article L.221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, by checking the consent box presented in the purchase screen before confirmation:
- You give your express prior consent to immediate performance of the service during the 14-day legal withdrawal period;
- You expressly acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as service performance begins — i.e. from the first content playback after subscription.
Pursuant to article L.221-13 of the French Consumer Code, Apache Network SA sends you, immediately after purchase, a confirmation email reproducing the two notices above on a durable medium, thereby confirming your waiver of the right of withdrawal.
4.5 Price changes
Any price change will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. You may cancel free of charge if you refuse the new price.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the application
- Extract, copy or redistribute music content
- Use bots, scripts, crawlers or automated tools
- Circumvent technical protections (DRM, encryption, rate limits)
- Share your account or credentials with a third party
- Use the service for commercial, public or broadcast purposes (bars, restaurants, events) without prior written agreement
- Upload illicit content (offensive playlist names, inappropriate avatars, etc.)
- Attempt to access accounts or data other than your own
In case of violation, we may suspend or terminate your account without notice and without reimbursement of the remaining period.
6. Music catalog — rights and licenses
The music catalog is provided by our rights-holder partners (notably Cyberscaling Hosting Media / Sonar / HAL). You are granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to listen to tracks for the duration of your subscription and within covered territories.
Offline downloads are encrypted files (AES-256-CTR), bound to your account. They are not standard MP3 or audio files: they cannot be exported, shared or used outside the MusicMe application.
No copyright assignment or license is granted beyond the personal use described here.
7. Your content
Your playlists, favorites and avatar belong to you. You grant us a non-exclusive, free and limited license for the internal use necessary to operate the service (storage, display, multi-device sync).
8. Intellectual property
The MusicMe application (source code, design, brand, logos, animations, UI sounds) is the exclusive property of Apache Network SA. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification or use is prohibited and subject to prosecution.
9. Service availability
We use reasonable means to ensure maximum service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, provider outage (Supabase, Apple, music partners) or force majeure.
10. Termination
10.1 By you
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deletion is final and effective within 30 days.
10.2 By us
We may terminate your account in case of serious violation of these terms. Except in urgent cases (fraud, security breach), 7 days' notice will be given by email.
11. Limitation of liability
Within the limits permitted by French law:
- The service is provided "as is"
- We are not liable for indirect damages (data loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity)
- Our total liability to you is capped at the total amount paid over the past 12 months
These limitations do not apply in case of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or violation of non-waivable consumer rights (notably legal warranties of conformity and hidden defects — French Consumer Code articles L.217-3 et seq.).
12. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms of Use. Any substantial change will be notified by email and via an in-app banner at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after this date constitutes acceptance.
13. Consumer mediation
Pursuant to articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, after any unsuccessful direct amicable resolution attempt, the consumer may resort free of charge to a consumer mediator:
[Name of consumer mediator — to be designated by
Apache Network SA]
Address: [to be completed]
Website: [URL to be completed]
The mediator may only be contacted at least one year after a written complaint has been first addressed to contact@musicme.vip (French Consumer Code art. R.612-2).
The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is also accessible to any consumer residing in the European Union: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, after attempted amicable resolution and mediation (see art. 13), and pursuant to French Consumer Code article R.631-3, the competent court is that of your domicile (if you reside in France) or that of the registered office of Apache Network SA (Nanterre).
